Ministering to Refugees and People in War-Affected Areas

TCI remains dedicated to its crucial humanitarian work in war-torn Ukraine. Despite limited resources due to a decline in donations to our Refugee Fund earlier this year, we are immensely grateful to the few who continue to support these efforts. The need caused by the ongoing conflict remains significant, with many suffering refugees still residing in the country. Kherson and the surrounding areas continue to bear the brunt of the war, enduring regular shelling and bombings.

In this challenging context, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to IDES and Worldpartners for their generous support of our spring projects. With their assistance, we were able to distribute 600 food sets, each weighing 40 kg, alongside 600 gas cylinders, addressing the essential cooking and heating needs of affected individuals. Moreover, we facilitated the repair of houses, apartments, hospitals, and churches that had been devastated by the conflict, offering hope and restoration to more than 600 families. Additionally, three churches serving as humanitarian shelters received necessary heating equipment and food.

Furthermore, we are grateful to our partners from IDES and FAME for their remarkable contribution of seven twenty-ton containers of humanitarian aid. These containers were packed with vital medical equipment, essential supplies such as wet wipes, diapers for both adults and children, winter clothing, food provisions, military equipment, mattresses, and glasses.

These items have made a significant impact on the lives of those in need, providing them with critical resources for survival and comfort during these challenging times.

In addition to emergency relief efforts, we are investing in long-term sustainability through a Seed Project sponsored by Worldpartners. Through this initiative, we have distributed 20,000 food and seed sets, weighing 26 kg each, to support agriculture and ensure food security in the affected regions. This project alone has amounted to an astounding total of 520 tons of aid.

We want to emphasize that behind these numbers lie the stories of thousands of individuals, including seniors, children, and other victims whose lives have been touched by your support and our collective efforts. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by the ravages of war.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our donors, volunteers, and partners who have made these relief efforts possible. Your compassion and unwavering commitment have brought hope, relief, and restoration to those facing immense challenges. Your generosity has made a tangible impact on the lives of those affected, demonstrating the power of collective action.

As we continue to respond to the evolving needs of the affected communities, we invite you to stand with us in prayer and support. Together, we can provide aid, comfort, and a glimpse of hope to those who need it most.
