Big News: TCI Has Relocated to Kyiv!

We are excited to announce that TCI has relocated to Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine! This strategic move aims to enhance our effectiveness in serving our community and expanding our reach. By relocating to Kyiv, we hope to recruit more students, increase our interaction with various faith-based ministries, and improve logistics for our overseas branches.

Starting June 1, we began renting a new building in Kyiv, generously provided by a Christian mission at a very reasonable rate. Most of our staff and students have already relocated, with the remaining few set to move before the new school year begins on September 2.

While we have ceased renting our facilities in Ivano-Frankivsk, we plan to continue teaching certificate classes there using local church facilities, with two out of five classes scheduled for next year as one or two-week intensives. For our part-time pastoral certificate programs, we aim to enroll 20 students each in Ivano-Frankivsk, Kherson, and Kyiv.

Recruitment of new students and preparations for the new school year are already underway in Kyiv. The new building is in good condition but requires minor remodeling and additional furniture. Here’s an overview of our new facilities (approximately 20,000 sq. ft):

1st Floor: Library and Community Center
The first floor will house TCI’s library and Community Center. It will also feature a display dedicated to the crimes of the Russian army against Christians, highlighting the damage they caused to the TCI campus and its library.

2nd Floor: Office and Event Space
The second floor includes five office rooms for staff, with plans to expand to six in the future. It also serves as a temporary storage space for the library during the first floor’s reconstruction. Additionally, a large event hall/lounge area is available for gatherings, meetings, and student activities.

3rd Floor: Dormitory
The third floor serves as the dormitory, offering ten living rooms for students and a dining room. It can comfortably accommodate up to 30 students, with a maximum capacity of 40. Future remodeling could increase this capacity.

4th Floor: Classrooms and Worship Hall

The fourth floor includes four classrooms, one office, and a large worship hall.
We expect about 20 students to be housed regularly on the new campus. As we continue to settle into our new home, we look forward to the opportunities this move will bring for growth and collaboration in our mission to nurture and train Christian leaders. At the end of my report, I want to take a moment to thank all our partners for prayers and generous contributions which cannot be overstated, and we are profoundly grateful for your continued partnership in various aspects of our ministry. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to our mission.
