The window replacement project has brought warmth and security to families in Kherson who have endured unimaginable hardship due to the war.
This winter was a battle for survival for many citizens of Kherson. When missiles struck, shattering windows across the city, families were left exposed to the freezing cold, relying only on blankets and plastic sheets to keep the icy wind at bay. But thanks to the support we received, over 55 families have now received new, sturdy windows—more than 137 in total!
One of these families is Tatiana and her husband, Sergey. After months of occupation and continued shelling, their home suffered severe damage, and their windows were blown out in a recent attack. With no income and nowhere else to go, they patched their windows as best they could, but the cold was impossible to escape. Check their story in the following short video:
We are especially grateful to Pantano Christian Church and Anaheim First Christian Church, whose generosity made much of this possible. Every repaired window is more than just physical protection—it is a tangible reminder that these families are not forgotten.
How You Can Pray:
🙏 For protection over Kherson’s residents – The city remains under constant shelling. Pray for safety and resilience for families still living in the midst of war.
🙏 For ongoing provisions – Many homes remain damaged, and the need for further repairs, heating, and food is still great. Pray for continued resources to meet these needs.
