Encouraging Student Research
Throughout the academic year, TCI has actively fostered collaboration and engagement through various student-led initiatives and conferences. One notable event was the student scientific and practical conferences organized in partnership with the International Alliance for the Advancement of Christian Education and Wroclaw Seminary.
In April we had the privilege of hosting the “Theology of Nation” conference. This two-day event brought together students from three schools in Ukraine. The speakers addressed topics ranging from national identity to theological education’s role in shaping civic identity. Besides, students heard reports about doing youth ministry and serving leadership in light of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
In addition to hosting conferences, our students actively participated in various academic events, including the First All-Ukrainian Youth Conference at Chernivtsi National University, and the Summer Interdenominational School of Dialogue for Seminary students, focusing on the vital role of Ukrainian churches in healing the wounds of war. The school provided a platform for meaningful dialogue and collaboration among students from diverse backgrounds.
These initiatives underscore TCI’s commitment to fostering intellectual inquiry and spiritual development among our students. This enables us to create transformative educational experiences that empower our students to become leaders in their communities.
