Plans for the Future

Despite the war, TCI keeps working on its strategic goals. This year TCI staff set these tasks:
– Strengthen relationships within the team and maintain the emotional health of students.
– Analyze and develop the school’s strategy for five years, taking into account the changes that are now taking place.
– Strengthen relationships with existing partners and gain new partners.

Understanding the strategy in the times of the “black swans” is very important. We realize that the war has greatly changed all our plans.

At the moment, we are prayerfully looking for a new location where we can start the next 2023-2024 academic year. Currently, we don’t have an answer to this question, but we keep searching and praying a lot about it. We are considering the idea of starting the new school year in Kyiv or staying in Ivano-Frankivsk, along with the idea of returning to Kherson.

Besides, we set a goal of opening a few new programs over the next two years. We are considering training church people in social ministry because our society needs specialists in the emotional rehabilitation of people affected by the war.

Also, we plan to launch a center of social adaptation for people traumatized by the war. To make it more sustainable, we are considering launching a farming micro-business project based on hydroponics (something similar to the greenhouses we run, but with different technology and higher productivity). This business will serve as occupational therapy for soldiers and other categories of people traumatized by war in Ukraine.

Thank you for staying with TCI during this difficult time. Your prayers and support are making a big difference in our ministry.
