TCI Library Restoration
Library Reconstruction Efforts:
During the Russian occupation of TCI’s campus in Kherson, a devastating loss of 30,000 books occurred. However, thanks to the generous donations from other schools and the support of our partners, we have acquired approximately 3,000 books to begin rebuilding our library. Currently, we are exploring the opportunity to obtain a substantial collection of books from a closing library in the US. Securing a large collection of books is crucial for our accreditation with the government.
Translation and Publishing Initiatives:
While rebuilding our library remains a priority, providing students with study books in Ukrainian is also essential. Therefore, TCI continues its dedicated efforts in translation and publishing work. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of TCI and its supporters, several new books have become available in Ukrainian for the first time.
These are the recent publications by TCI:
“Church and Culture: An Intensive Course in Contemporary Issues” by Joshua D. Chatrow and Karen Swallow Pryor. TCI published 500 copies of this insightful book.
“How to Read the Bible and See Its Value” by Gordon D. Fee and Douglas Stewart. TCI translated and published 500 copies of this transformative work, based on the 4th original edition.
“Introduction to the Old Testament,” edited by Mark Mangano. TCI published 750 copies of this foundational text.
“How to Read the Bible Book by Book” by Gordon D. Fee and Douglas Stewart. TCI translated and published 500 copies of this comprehensive guide.
“Psychology, Theology and Spirituality in Christian Counseling” by Mark McMinn. TCI translated and printed 500 copies of this book.
These publications not only enrich our library but also enhance the academic experience of our students and faculty, fostering a deeper understanding of faith and scholarship.
